Yesterday was the old Chinatown visit in search for some earrings. A lot has changes since I was last here. The police have really cracked down on the knockoffs.
If you are looking for the knockoffs talk to the whispering lady on the street, you wont find anything good in the shops and they all pretty much have the same things.
The 3 best things chinatown has to offer….
Bubble Tea!
If you haven had it its a sweet tea with gooey tapioca balls at the bottom. Nice and squishy.
Bakery
The bakeries in Chinatown are awesome. You can find some really weird gooey cakes, and cheese buns etc… Pretty cheap too.

Dumplings
There are tons of little hole in the wall restaurants, but you have to try some soup dumplings. My friend Scott put me on to a really good restaurant. Joes Shanghai.
